Boston Planning and Development Agency 
The BDPA community planning staff will discuss their role in the community planning and development process and will answer questions residents might have about the community planning and development process. 

Community Preservation Act 
Kannan Thiruvengadam, member of the Community Preservation Committee, will briefly discuss the Community Preservation Act which funds historical preservation, parks and affordable housing and how one can apply for funding.

A complete rehab of three buildings into a proposed occupancy of a single retail space and 9 dwelling units. Attorney Richard Lynds 2nd presentation/VOTE to be taken

2. 128 Gove Street/Mt. Carmel 
A proposal to demolish the existing structures on the Mt Carmel property and to build new housing structures on the vacant lot on Frankfort Street for a total of 115 units. Project consists of 50% condos and 50% rentals. Attorney Jeff Drago, presenting updates/No vote

The Gove Street Citizens Association monthly meeting agenda:

• GSCA Executive Board Election - Any GSCA voting member may nominate themselves, or any other eligible voting member, or members, for election to any of the following Offices for a two-year term:  Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, Secretary, and Director-At-Large. 
• Update on status of GSCA area projects.
• 23 Everett Street - A proposal to change the occupancy from a one-family dwelling to a two-family dwelling. Also, renovate the building by adding a 3rd story addition.  Attorney Jeffrey Drago (2nd presentation / Vote to be taken) 
• 18 Everett Street – A proposal to demolish the existing structure and erect a 9-unit residential building with 9 parking spaces. Attorney Richard Lynds (2nd presentation / Vote to be taken)

GSCA Executive Board Election - Any GSCA voting member may nominate themselves, or any other eligible voting member, or members, for election to any of the following Offices for a two-year term:

• 287 -293 Maverick St. (Pickle Factory)- A proposal to demolish an existing vacant industrial building and erect a 5 story (with set-back) mixed-use development of 37 multifamily residential units and café/restaurant at ground level with 31 on-site parking spaces. This project is subject to a BPDA Article 80E-2 small project review. - Attorney Richard Lynds (3rd presentation / Vote to be taken.)
•  67 Lubec Street – A revised proposal to erect a 4-floor, 6 residential condo unit building with 6 parking spaces in the rear of the building. - Attorney Jeffrey Drago, Developer Thomas Falcucci. (2nd presentation / Vote to be taken.)

Breaking from the Boston Globe:

O’Malley, who had promised not to sell the buildings until the appeals to Rome were exhausted, is now asking vigil protesters to accept that it is finally time to move on.

“He would ask the faithful to respect his decision, and in areas where there are vigils that there would be a peaceful conclusion,” said the Very Rev. Arthur M. Coyle, the cardinal’s liaison on the long process to prepare the churches for sale.

“Each of the six parish groups is ready to take this issue all the way to the Vatican’s highest court,” said Peter Borre of the Council of Parishes, a lay Catholic group that has contested church closings in the archdiocese.

In addition to St. Frances, the churches affected by the cardinal’s decree, effective Monday, are St. James the Great, in Wellesley; St. Jeanne D’Arc, in Lowell; Star of the Sea, in Quincy; Our Lady of Lourdes, in Revere; and Our Lady of Mount Carmel, in East Boston.
